New England School of Homeopathy

Welcome NHAND Attendees

Dear NHAND Attendee,

We’re so glad you found us. Paul’s talk on “Remedies that Get Left on the Shelf & How to Use them in Clinical Practice” at the Annual NHAND Conference is scheduled for Friday Nov 3rd from 4:15-5:45pm. He looks forward to seeing you then. Stop by the NESH booth to say HI and see what goodies we might be offering – you can probably count on chocolate!

We hope that you will take the opportunity to look at our NESH offerings, that your curiosity about homeopathy and how it works in the clinic is piqued, and that we have the chance to learn together. Our goal is always to have you learn to use this powerful tool in ways that streamline your efforts while ultimately being able to help those in your care.

We met on the first day of naturopathic medical school in 1982 and while we didn’t join forces immediately, we took our time to fall in love with each other, naturopathic medicine, and homeopathy. We’ve had a decades-long career where our NUNM education has served us well and we’ve had the chance to work with thousands of patients, as well as to travel the world to teach and share our perspective. All the while, we still frequently write both for health care providers and the general public.

We continue to give back to the profession and to offer our teaching to the next generation of providers. We hope you will find the elegance and efficacy of homeopathy in whatever kind of work you choose to do, and that we have the chance to learn with you sometime, somewhere, soon!

Amy Rothenberg ND, DHANP (NUNM ’86) & Paul Herscu ND, MPH, DHANP (NUNM ‘86)

Comments from the ND Community:

Thought shared by current 2022-2023 online student Dr. Nushka Kassem N.D, LAc (from San Ramon, CA):

I have Doctor’s degree in Naturopathic medicine, a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, I have studied Classical Chinese Medicine extensively with the Daoist Master Dr. Jeffery Yuen, do a lot of kinesiology testing and treatments based on testing in my office, as well as IV therapies.

With all of the modalities and subjects I have learned, I am finding that the homeopathic education I am receiving with Dr. Paul Herscu and Dr. Amy Rothenberg, to be life changing. You will be amazed by the effects the correct remedy will have on your patients. I have seen nothing work faster, in an incredibly comprehensive fashion (body, mind, spirit), and without side effects.

This course has been one of the best investments I’ve made in time and money. If you are interested in changing the world by optimizing the health of your patients, even without in person treatments, and would like a specific system that facilitates proper remedy selection, you will love this course.

Why should I consider studying homeopathy / what will it do for my future ND practice?
What does studying with NESH offer beyond the homeopathy I’ll get or already received as part of my regular ND student curriculum?

Research and Clinical Studies:

We also had another successful study published this year: Safety and Evaluation of the Immune Response of Coronavirus Nosode (BiosimCovex) in Healthy Volunteers: A Preliminary Study Extending the Homeopathic Pathogenetic TrialWe aimed to develop a bridge study between homeopathic provings and modern clinical drug discovery trials. Additionally, the findings of mild elevation of IL-6 in all the subjects are worthy of further examination as they may be linked to a measurable immune response from the remedy.

This is an exciting proof of concept study, expanding upon Dr. Herscu’s prior published work and deepening our understanding of homeopathic provings.
