Guided Case Studies In Theory & Practice, Diving into Polycrests: What Our Alumni Have To Say
These are comments from students who joined us in 2024 for Diving into Polycrests Part #1. (Once we have received permission to use their names, we will add those to each comment.)
Sheila M. Frodermann, ND, MS, DHANP from Rhode Island: I absolutely love this course, in so many ways, and I’m delighted that there is a Polycrest #2. As a clinician, this year-long online class keeps my homeopathic case-taking skills, case-analysis, and daily clinical prescribing primed. Polycrest #1 is vitally relevant to my prescribing efficiency in my clinic, and a complement to the NESH Annual Clinical Cases which tend to feature more complex cases. Thank you NESH for providing current and poignant online learning tools for both the new and long-term clinical classical homeopathic prescriber.
ND, LAc, MSOM from Vermont: The polycrest course has been pretty much perfect in helping me prescribe homeopathy in a primary care and more specialized medical care practice. Every video, case and question and answer has me glued to the experience and making many notes as I go along.
Overall, since working with Paul and Amy the whole concept of syndrome shift has been groundbreaking for me in my understanding of homeopathy. Thank you so much Paul, Amy and Kim and whoever else is helping put all of this together!
Kerry McCaslin, Classical Homeopath from Washington: One of the biggest challenges I have faced in my practice is being able to discern when a client is moving into a different remedy picture. This course has helped me to understand the movement of the healing process within a remedy, when and why to stay with a remedy, and how to recognize the shifting of the remedy picture into a new remedy presentation.
The Polycrest course has built upon the foundational Two-Year NESH course work. It has deepened my understanding of each Polycrest we have studied. It has helped me to be able to “see” and identify the Key Notes of needed remedies. This has resulted in quicker, more efficient, and effective remedy selection for my clients. Deepening my confidence in prescribing.
I’m very pleased with how the material and topics were covered in this first Polycrest course. As always, with NESH courses, I continue to learn new things every time! My plan is to continue on to the next Polycrest course for 2025.
Reid Bruggemann LMT from Colorado: I am having good results with clients, and seeing real healing, which is fascinating and deeply satisfying. I just need more time with the Materia Medica. There are a few remedies I have a strong picture of, but it sometimes takes longer than it should to locate the remedy – for some remedies, I only have part of the picture stored in my mind. This is just where I am in the learning process.
This class was very helpful, and showed me states of health that I would not have automatically associated with the polycrest. I definitely have a stronger understanding of the polycrests after this class. There is a lot to learn, so having ongoing classes is very helpful.
CCH Homeopath from Virginia: Thank you for providing this course. It made a difference! I would like more Polycrests, as this made me feel much more confident.
R. S. ND from Washington: These courses are so valuable to me. I love homeopathy and want to become more proficient because I know how powerful it is. Biggest challenge is fear of making mistakes and having the confidence to take a case in order to find the correct remedy. This course has helped me see how to feel more prepared to take a case to get to a remedy.
Piers Wander from Massachusetts: Thank You so much!! This Training was Incredible!! I benefited So much, and am already Signed up for Year 2!! A Huge Thank You to Paul for everything He did to make this Course Happen! All of the Teaching came through with Fantastic Clarity, and Was Truly Amazing!! I can’t wait to start Year 2!!! If Year 2 is anything like Year 1, I’m sure I’d attend a Year 3!!! Thank You all so Much!! I’m a Better Homeopath for having been in this Year long Training!!!!
Molly Kay McNally BSc CCH from Alaska: I wanted to say thank you to Paul for class. I really enjoyed it. Simple reminders to keep me in check when observing patients. Always each class has takeaway ‘gems’ for me to use. The class is stimulating and enjoyable.
It helped with a case I’ve had of cancer of the breast. She had addressed it with her oncologist with surgery and then came to me. I gave her Calc c. which is what she needed and did well on! Point being I looked really hard at small remedies…to ‘fit’ the pathology….and ended up doing the run around only to come back to what ‘she needed’! So big thanks!
ND, Lic.Ac from California: Fantastic and very useful course! Thank you! I know the seminar was centered around expeditious prescribing, which I have greatly benefited from in my practice. Nevertheless, I would have loved to see the repertorization as well as cycles and segments for all of the written cases for the sake of practice as a reference. [NOTE from NESH – based on this feedback from a number of students, more of this will be added into Part #1 of this course for the 2025 version]
Wendy S. from New Jersey: Very enjoyable course, so I signed up for the next one. I don’t have a practice, so I don’t really treat a lot of people, but learning about these polycrests in this course has been a great learning experience for me. As I was studying the 6th Module I got a fever and a few days later a bad cough that lingered. I realized that the remedy XXX was what I needed, probably since childhood, and it has been helping me.
Melinda Nickels ND, LAc from Oregon: As far as homeopathy goes, taking a good case in the midst of everything else I do as an ND/LAc is always a challenge. However this class really has been helpful in this regard. I feel like I’ve been able to recognize and make successful remedy prescriptions in more cases this past year using what we’ve covered in this class and the preceding ones.
