I became interested in homeopathy over 20 years ago when my nine-month old son had repeated ear infections with no relief after many antibiotics. When looking around for other options, my mother suggested I see a homeopath. “A what?!” I asked. I had never heard of this before. I was willing to try anything. After one remedy from a homeopath, the infections were resolved. This amazingly curious event got me interested in learning more so I began reading about homeopathy. With the guidance of a homeopath, I began treating my family’s illnesses and eventually decided to formally study it. It took me 11 years of part-time study but I am thrilled to now be a nationally certified classical homeopath (CCH). Putting together the pieces of a person’s life puzzle and matching them to an appropriate homeopathic remedy is an incredible challenge yet also very rewarding.
In addition to my homeopathic practice, I manage an online speed reading training business and volunteer on non-profit boards. I totally enjoy being the mother of two college age sons and being the wife to my wonderful husband of 25 years living in Wallingford, CT. Outside of all this, I have found some incredibly supportive and necessary activities to nourish my mind and spirit: I swim laps with a Master’s swim club, do yoga, take long walks, spend time with friends and read about homeopathy and natural healing.
