From NESH:  I (Paul) have known Joe for nearly a decade now. Here is what I remember when we first met in our Boston 10 Weekend Course 2013-2014. Joe was smart, educated, knew homeopathy, had experience, etc. But what struck me was how nice he was. I know, this sounds a bit odd to write about someone. It is just that after decades of practice, many physicians become hardened, callous, unapproachable. Not so with Joe. He was one of the folks that made the course memorable, with his pleasant demeanor, natural curiosity, and encouraging presence. Answering questions, asking questions, filling in details, it was all pleasantly done. What he may not know, is that many times when he spoke in class, I would watch the other participants, sort of settle and relax, as he spoke. I know I should be focusing here on his knowledge, but that seems to be easy to find, but kindness, much a rarer trait.
